28 April 2009: Washington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin (8) leaps on the back of center Sergei Fedorov (91) after Fedorov scored the winning goal against the New York Rangers as right wing Viktor Kozlov (25) joins them in the 3rd period in the seventh game of the Eastern Conference NHL quarterfinal playoff game at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The Washington Capitals defeated the New York Rangers 2-1 in the Eastern Conference NHL quaterfinal playoff to advance to the second round of the playoffs.
