28 April 2009: Washington Capitals goalie Simeon Varlamov (40) makes a save on a shot as New York Rangers right wing Nik Antropov (80) crashes into the net in the 1st period in the seventh game of the Eastern Conference NHL quarterfinal playoff game at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The Washington Capitals defeated the New York Rangers 2-1 in the Eastern Conference NHL quaterfinal playoff to advance to the second round of the playoffs.
