13 May 2009: Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby (87) scores a goal against Washington Capitals goalie Simeon Varlamov (40) and the defense of defenseman Tom Poti (3) in the first period of the seventh game of the Eastern Conference NHL semifinal playoff game at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Washington Capitals 6-2 to advance to the Conference finals.
