08 February 2008: Washington Capitals left wing Alexander Ovechkin (8) is hooked as he fires a shot in the first period by Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Niclas Wallin (7) at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The shot was stopped by goalie Cam Ward (30) a the Hurricanes defeated the Capitals 2-1.
